Mississauga / Toronto Weather
Mississauga / Toronto typically experiences warm, humid summers, and cold and often snowy winters. Normal high temperatures in June, July and August range from 24°C to 27 °C, while daytime temperatures in December, January and February are normally at or below the freezing mark. The city also normally receives 100-120 cm of snow during the winter months.
Lake-effect snowfall accounts for much of Toronto's winter precipitation. If winds are blowing strong enough out of the northwest, snow squalls off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay can reach Toronto. Strong easterly winds blowing across Lake Ontario can also result in snow for the city.
